pay for it and they don't support all portable players, but Audible provides almost anything you can imagine, from audio books and lectures to recorded radio and newspaper content.
MP3.com is the most popular MP3 related site.Primarily a music site, they do offer many spoken audio programs, including lesser known audiobooks, poetry and interviews.
Not all of AudioHighway content is downloadable, but they do offer some programs in MP3.
RioPort is the home for RIO player owners. Samples and a few full audiobooks, news programs, and comedy.
Several daily updated audio streams.
This well known music swapping program can also offer many spoken word titles, if you know what you are searching for.
Sells inexpensive MP3 spoken word files.
